I know recovery is possible because I've lived it–

Hi, I’m Hailey (LPCC + graphic designer). I never imagined my own healing journey would become my life's work.

After recovering from chronic pain, insomnia, and anxiety, I became passionate about helping others discover that recovery is possible, too. I know how discouraging it can feel when you've tried everything and still don't have answers. I also know the incredible hope that comes when things begin to change.

That's why I do this work.

I love to educate and walk alongside people as they learn to understand their minds and bodies in a new way, find freedom from fear, and reconnect with the life they thought they had lost.

Whether through counseling, speaking, or writing, my goal is to make the science of healing approachable, practical, and filled with hope. I believe that understanding why our minds and bodies respond the way they do can be the beginning of healing. My hope is that the resources here help you make sense of your symptoms and discover that lasting healing is possible.

Qualifications

My work is especially informed by Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), two neuroscience-based approaches that have been shown to reduce—and in many cases eliminate—symptoms such as chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and other persistent mind-body conditions.

Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) helps retrain the brain when it has become stuck in a cycle of producing pain or other symptoms, even after the body has healed. Rather than viewing symptoms as a sign of ongoing injury, PRT teaches the brain and nervous system that the body is safe. As fear decreases and the brain learns new patterns, symptoms often become less intense—or disappear altogether.

Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET) focuses on the role that unresolved emotions, relational stress, and past experiences can play in both emotional and physical symptoms. By helping people safely process emotions that may have been avoided or suppressed, EAET supports the nervous system in letting go of long-standing protective patterns. Many people find that as emotional burdens are addressed, both their emotional well-being and physical symptoms improve in noticeable ways.
